ANGELA ALEXANDER, LMFT
Angela is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She helps adults explore how early relationships have shaped their inner world — and how those patterns continue to show up in present-day struggles, especially in relationships, self-worth, and emotional regulation. You’ll work not just on managing symptoms, but on healing the parts of you that carry hurt, fear, or self-doubt. This work is gentle but powerful—and it’s always at your pace.
She believes healing happens in the presence of safety and connection. In your work together, she aims to create a space where all parts of you feel welcome — even the ones that feel messy or misunderstood — so you can experience more self-trust, ease, and authentic connection.
Angela grew up in Texas, went to Furman University in South Carolina studying accounting and moved to the Nashville area where she has lived for 20+ years.
After a career working in public accounting followed by a period as a stay-at-home mom, she felt called to change directions. Angela found healing with therapy and felt the desire to assist others in their healing journey.
She draws from attachment science and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both of which offer a compassionate lens for understanding our inner world and the strength it takes to grow and heal. With couples, she incorporates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) as a framework to work through pain and division and improve connection.
When Angela is not working, she enjoys reading, walking the greenway, attending her teenagers’ sporting events and quiet evenings at home.
